"gmctavish needs more space" (gmctavish)

So the Raider hasn’t been starting and I haven’t had time to diagnose it. Yesterday after I sealed up what I believe to be my leak into the cabin, I tried out my new jump pack from amazon and tried to figure it out.
No fuel pressure. Alright, maybe my regulator is broken. Disconnected the fuel line from the regular, still nothing. Took the line from the tank off the pump, g ot my dad to crank so I could feel for vacuum. Nothing. So I’d say I have a dead fuel pump.
Today I went to Lordco to buy a single socket for the crank pulley bolt so I could find TDC to free the rocker arm of the pump. And now I’ve got the presumably dead pump out, and a new pump coming from RockAuto. So hopefully once this whole thing is over with I’ll have a running truck again.
Yes I have a very dirty engine, no I don’t particularly care. Starting to clean any part of this truck opens a door I can’t close, and inevitably ends with metalwork and repainting it.

wasn’t the genuine fuel pump gasket in with the manifold gasket on those?
or maybe i’m thinking the L300 van we used to have at work.
